Implement server-side commands for remote actions

Reported by: phil Owned by: armin
Priority: normal Milestone: libobby 0.4.0
Component: libobby Version:
Severity: normal Keywords: network

Description (last modified by phil) (diff)

The possibility to send server-side commands would enable one to e.g. save the current document to a directory on the server or to perform other actions. libobby should provide the framework for this and Gobby some command interface to submit such commands to the server.

  • milestone set to libobby 0.3.0

The framework should be implemented in libobby 0.3.0, the real commands need to be implemented by the server software anyway.

Changed 8 years ago by phil

  • milestone changed from libobby 0.3.0 to libobby 0.3.1

This should be implemented in the 0.3.x branch. The old obby would just print a net6 protocol warning, should it really encounter such a command.
