gobby causing .exe and.dll errors

Description

after installing gobby on my windows xp box i revied an error stating that SMax4PNP.exe had encountered and error and must close.

I thought it was a driver error so i reinstalled the driver

Then i reinstalled the dll but i still receive the error

After removing gobby the error went away which leads me to believe gobby is the culprit of this error

I doubt I can do anything about this without being able to reproduce this myself. I'm also not sure what is actually the problem? What is SMax4PNP.exe, how is it related to the driver to mention, and why did you reinstall DLL files to fix something? Where did you install Gobby into? Have you tried renaming some of the DLLs Gobby ships with, to check whether one of it is doing any harm? What about GTK+? Does your SMax4PNP.exe/driver thingy work when GTK+ is installed, but not Gobby?

I don't see how Gobby could cause such a problem. Please reopen if it's still a problem, answering my questions in the comment above.
