Description

Some of my colleagues want Japanese version of Gobby. Windows installer supports Catalan, German and British English. Could you support some other language such as Japanese?

We do not speak Japanese ourselves, so we cannot add a Japanese translation. However, if one of your colleagues can translate Gobby into Japanese then we can add it to the next version of Gobby.

I have heard that Ubuntu version supports Japanese. Additionally, There seems to be Japanese translation file here: http://gobby.0x539.de/trac/browser/po/ja.po?rev=98f769d5b33d21449d2b2d2b7a50323bd677c2ac

If it's not enough to translate Windows version, I'm willing to translate Gobby into Japanese. Could you tell me how to do it?

Right, Gobby is actually translated to Japanese. If it's not included in the current Windows version then it will be in the next version.

Gobby also shows strings of libinfinity, however, which is not translated. Currently, this means that some strings in Gobby will be in Japanese and others in English.

The easiest way to translate libinfinity is via launchpad: https://translations.launchpad.net/libinfinity
